It's London Jewellery Week 11-17 June so we've gathered together some of the most exquisite Jewellery sites ever to adorn the internet.

Because there's a decidedly female contingent here in the GWG office (and also because it's London Jewellery Week of course) we couldn't help but browse the Internet for our favourite sites (such a chore!). Yes these beautiful, glittering, shimmering domains are the ones that have caught our attention. But boy was it hard to narrow it down to the final selection; there is some mighty fine talent out there in the world of jewellery design and the web has made it a whole lot more accessible... Go on have a browse, and remember boys - the best things come in small packages. NB. We've left out Tiffany's (because well, we spend all day dreaming about it anyway...)

Delfina Delettrez

Well we're more than a little enamoured with our latest find Delfina Delettrez; the daughter of esteemed designer Silvia Fendi has clocked up a whole lot of brownie points with her eclectic range of jewellery. It's hot, it's inventive, it's beautiful and if we could afford it we would buy the entire range - enough said.

Monica Vinader

We came, we saw, we bought - what more is there to say about one of our favourite jewellers Monica Vinader? Her bracelets are to die for and (shock horror) are actually affordable. Believe us; mothers, sisters, friends will just weep with glee when they unwind the cord from that small white box. Boys - you have been told.

"There comes a day in every woman's life when she wakes up wanting jewellery," believes Solange Azagury-Partridge, the designer behind this playful, diverse and internationally recognised range. Some of her pieces are so highly regarded that the V&A museum snapped up a few for their own collection. Whether you want fantasy inspiring enamel rings or a bleeding heart pendant, this colourful and easy to navigate site can lead you down the rabbit hole.

Claire Faulkner

Oh how we lust after the designs of the supremely talented Claire Faulkner. Forget Hatton Gardens, this is the place we'll be coming when we get that proposal (any day now!). With a bespoke service and a wide range of incredible pieces available at your finger tips, this is one designer who has really got our attention...

BLE Fine Jewellery

Carrying on the exclusive bespoke theme, this supremely professional company will go out of their way to source the very best precious gemstones and fine antique jewellery for your delectation. A highly personal service that we can vouch for a hundred times over...!

Boodles

How on earth could we not give a quick nod to Boodles? Again at the higher end of the spectrum, but brimming with class - this is one jeweller that has our gold encrusted heart on a plate... Oh please let us just win the lottery!

Astley Clarke
www.astleyclarke.com

Bec Astley Clarke founded Astley Clarke in 2006 providing designer jewellery online for the luxury market. The site celebrates fine jewellery craftsmanship (in-house and international) and the joy of colourful gemstones.

Over the years Clarke has gained a celebrity following including amongst others: January Jones, Nicole Kidman, Claudia Schiffer, Elle Macpherson, Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Palmero (to name but a few). If you want to delight in a delicate necklace from the silhouette range or find a new best friend amongst the gemstone jewellery this stylish and detailed site is the perfect place.

Boucheron

Ok so you're going to need some serious pennies in your back pocket to afford one of these pieces, but even if it's a little late in the month you can still stare at the site of a lunchbreak and well - just swoon...

Links of London

Oh how we lust after the uber cool, uber chic bracelets on offer at Links of London. With a range to die for, you're sure to find something for absolutely everyone in the family. We absolutely love the classic Wimbledon friendship bracelet, oh to see them stacked from wrist to elbow!

Cartier
www.cartier.co.uk

The Cartier site is as slick and sexy as you would expect from the renowned French Jeweller. Sharp graphics and stunning backdrops come complete with sound-clips to guide you around the exquisite range of pieces.

This domain is packed with the designer's mainly one off pieces inspired by, of all things, taxidermy as well as traditional style tattoos, tea drinking and Victoriana. The British Museum holds her ‘time traveller’ coin and banknote pieces and she has worked with famed designers including the revered Vivienne Westwood. Her work is fresh, detailed and really really fun. Perfect as a gift for a friend, (that you will be tempted to keep) or to offset a quirky outfit for a night out.

Stephen Webster

Well we couldn't very well do a Best Sites on jewellery without a nod to our fab Guest Editor and designer extraordinaire Stephen Webster, now could we? Yes the uber talented jeweller is right up there with the greats; with a chic cutting edge style that looks more than at home on the pages of Vogue (and on our wrists, fingers, necks... you name it), we've spent more than a few hours browsing his site in our time - we commend you Stephen!

June 2012.
