Set designers, stylists and interior junkies should definitely take note. This family business scours the globe for vintage furniture and lighting, continually delighting its loyal customer base with its ever changing collection. A firm favourite of design magazines, it's not a case of which magazines Alexander & Pearl's furniture has appeared in but the ones it hasn’t: The World of Interiors, Grand Designs, Harpers Bazaar, House & Garden, Elle, The Sunday Times are just the tip of the iceberg.

Launched in 2007, Amode brings quality, contemporary design to a wider audience, offering stylish furniture and accessories for the modern home. The products have been sourced from both established design companies, as well as up-and-coming young designers from around Europe and many of the items available are exclusive to Amode in the UK. Although there are pieces representing various parts of European design, the main emphasis is on the work of Italian designer/manufacturers.

This site will leave you aching for the idyllic country lifestyle that it so embodies. This small company specialises in handprinted fabrics which are manufactured locally. Each bolt is unique and to give the fabric that lived in feeling, it is prewashed. There’s a myriad of other soft furnishings on offer, all with the elegant yet decidedly warm feel of the English countryside. It’s no surprise the company has been featured in a slew of interiors magazines.

If you thought you had the seen the best there was on offer when it came to homewares online then think again; because at URBANARA, ‘quality' is the key word.
