This week we bring you a few of our favourites online stores for fashion shopping.

What a welcome change it’s been to the monopoly that is eBay; quirky, niche, beautifully designed online stores offering up unique products, yes that’s what Shopify, Tictail (read our brains with founder Carl Waldekranz here) and Etsy have brought to the world of e-commerce. A breath of fresh air, for the shopper looking for something unique, handcrafted or simply not of this world.

Here we bring you a few of our favourites stores:

Lauded by Vogue as a game changer in natural beauty, the staple ingredient in this range is Moringa Oil, long known for its rejuvenating properties, making these products ubiquitous on the shelves of the resolutely young and fabulous (whatever their age).

Having used the range for several months now we can vouch for its miracle touch: smoother, softer skin with a visible effect on wrinkles.

A seriously ethical brand of T-shirts and sweats that are well, super hip. What more could you want?

This range supports the Green World Campaign in their goal to educate and enlighten a new generation of children who can make a difference in their own lifetime. The One in a Billion initiative strives to help the Green World Campaign reach their target of a billion trees within a generation.

Combining pop up events across the capital with online retail, this store offers preloved luxury fashion (for those of you looking for a more affordable alternative to net-a-porter) alongside new designers and quirky homewares.

Find a highly curated range of Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Bvlgari bags alongside unique pieces from Roland Mouret, Chloe, Temperley, Missoni, Armani & McQueen - to name but a few. The site is also great for those looking to sell, with a pick up service (in London only).

These art prints by illustrator and author Emily Winfield Martin deserve their place in the canon of Etsy success stories, with over 55,327 sales to date. She’s even published a book, New York Times Bestseller "The Wonderful Things You Will Be". Find it here.

Because who needs another Van Gogh print on the wall, quite frankly?

These custom made shoes and bags come in a vast array of styles and colours.

The contemporary and decidedly funky range (made to order, expect 4-6 weeks for production and delivery) is perfect for the teenager with an upcoming birthday or the adult with an eagle eye on the next rave, just look at this Vegan holographic back pack (swoon):

Unique statement light fixtures are the name of the game at New York based Urban Chandy, with lights hand crafted from reclaimed wood and other materials, with sustainability as the brand’s mission statement (please note they will need an adaptor for these fixtures to work in the UK).

If you’re looking for unusual homewares, Etsy is certainly the place to go.

If it’s clothes from the seventies, eighties or nineties you covet, then Persephone is the store for you. Offering up curated vintage fashion of the bold and unusual variety, this is a selection sourced from across the world. Because who has time to go sifting through flea markets quite frankly?
