Space NK Apothecary started out as a concept store in London’s bustling Covent Garden shopping district. A ground-breaking boutique – which boasted one of London’s original juice bars – it was among the first of its kind, selling beautifully crafted designer clothing and accessories alongside a considered range of wellness and beauty products.
The mix of beauty and wellbeing lines (sourced by founder Nicky Kinnaird) proved to be ahead of its time and thus, enormously successful.

Dr. Hauschka is the brand name given to the holistic range of skin care and cosmetics made by the German company WALA Heilmittel GmbH.
WALA Heilmittel GmbH has been developing natural preparations since 1935, pioneering in a society that was barely even aware of natural preparations. WALA's founder Dr. Rudolf Hauschka established the WALA laboratories with the purpose of formulating anthroposophic medicines from water-based plant extracts without using alcohol as a preservative. We've just tried the transluscent make up, the limited edition bronzer and the concealer (incredible for under eyes and half the price of Touché Éclat), they all come highly recommended.

BrownBeauty is a beauty platform aimed at Women of Colour, where they can read and talk about beauty issues that affect them.
The format is a website that acts as an online magazine in order to review beauty products, feature Women of Colour in the beauty industry and find out about different women's skincare regime and the products they carry in their make-up bags. Then there is a Twitter discussion that takes place every Sunday between 8pm and 9pm where topics are covered from foundation, make-up and hair care to issues such as going natural, the image of Women of Colour in the media and the lack of Black models on the catwalk.
