Quince

A stunning collection of British and Scandinavian gifts and home accessories.

The sweet-smelling and quirky quince is an excellent mascot for this rarefied and enticing website. Offering a handpicked selection of homewares, Quince is a family-run business, featuring a stunning collection of British and Scandinavian gifts and home accessories.

THE LOOK

Visually, Quince has taken inspiration from its Scandinavian merchandise and is clean and uncluttered, allowing the items themselves to do the talking. The homepage is more interesting than the average - with a ‘Things we love’ section and a promotional video that should whet your appetite for all the treasures you will find within...

KITCHEN, LIVING, GIFT

The husband and wife team behind Quince have an unerring eye for good design, particularly for unusual illustrated products. Littlephant, for instance, is a Swedish company that uses quirky characters and colourful patterns to create great homeware items - and a brand that we feel is emblematic of what to expect from Quince. Maileg (a Danish company) make vegetable themed rattles for babies - a perfect little gift for a newborn.

In fact, this is a site that you will probably turn to time and time again for that unique gift for a friend or a family member - it is so full of pretty and functional things. Amongst the array of kitchenware, tableware, art prints, bags, cushions and toys there are many special items at Quince - such as the range of owl themed ceramics by Hannah Turner (love these!) and the Tunnock’s teacake cushion by Gillian Kyle.
