Productivity and organisational expert Patty Cruz-Fouchard helps people to be more organised so they can reclaim their time and boost their productivity.

Here, Patty fills us in on the business of getting organised... I'm a productivity expert and what I do is I help clients simplify their lives, so I wanted the website to be simple, fresh, friendly and easy to navigate. I wanted to show that I'm very hands on, that I like to work with home and business clients and that I'm friendly, energetic and very focused when approaching my projects. I want my visitors to smile when they see the website and want them to feel at ease when they look at the pictures and read the text.

What was the inspiration for the site?
I'm different to my competition, how I describe what I do and how I approach leading an organised life so it was very important for me to stand out and be different. That is why I went for Nature, happiness, freshness, friendliness and professionalism --- combining all these aspects to show I can work with businesses and private clients.

When did you launch the site?
February 2017

What are your greatest challenges?
Trying to explain all the services I provide without making it complicated. Even explaining what I do as a Productivity Expert in a simple, relatable way to those who need me can sometimes be a challenge.

What's your background?
I have a Master's in Business Management and Finance and I worked in the City (London) in Management Consulting and Investment Banking for ten years! My life was pretty much corporate, high paced and excel spreadsheets before I decided to jump onto the entrepreneur wagon.

Who do you admire in business?
Arianna Huffington (for her holistic approach to business and always adapting) and Back Obama (although he is not a business man, but he is a great leader!)

Please recommend a website and / or app that helps you promote or run your business or that you simply couldn't live without.
Instagram or YouTube for social media to promote my business and also because I learn from watching tutorials and find out about events and influencers on Instagram.

Also Wordpress for running and managing my website!

What is the best piece of business advice you've been given?
Outsource what you're not good at - it will cost you more if you try to do it yourself. The time you spend doing what is not your strength means time away from your clients and making money.

What is your motto?
You only live once - so make the most out of it and live with no regrets.

Where do you see the business going from here?
Having a team to do more private clients so I can focus more on workshops for schools and companies, delivering more training for business clients and writing my book!
