Discovery Travel

Discovery Travel was founded in 2000 by two people, Emma and Marco, who wanted to share their love (and immense knowledge) of Italy with others. The company has sought out villas, apartments and hotel accommodation in some of Italy's most popular and sometimes least visited regions: Tuscany, Umbria, Apulia, Abruzzo, Le Marche, Basilicata and Campania.

Discovery Travel prides itself in that every member of their staff has hands on knowledge of all the accommodation listed on their books. They have visited the surrounding towns and can fill you in on anything you might need to know. It is a small company offering a highly personal service, where they can also tailor make holidays.

The company offers a compact selection of villas and apartments, which are hand picked and well illustrated and described on the website. All accommodation is high specification, many with private swimming pools. Hotels are generally family run with great facilities.

Discovery Travel will also arrange activities once you have booked your accommodation. This ranges from guided tours, cookery courses, boat trips, horse riding to cycling.
