Mountain Paradise

Mountain Paradise offers unforgettable skiing holidays in the beautiful and un-spoilt Tatra Mountains in Slovakia.

Beginners can take the first steps on the slopes with experienced English speaking instructors while the intermediate and experienced skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the slopes at their leisure and improve their skills in the High Tatras mountains.

Cross country skiing, paragliding, bungee jumping and excellent sledging runs are also available in the High Tatras for you to enjoy the complete winter holiday experience.

Mountain Paradise was formed in 2003 by Matt Jevons and his partner Terezia Rothova & Martin Hoclar, a local Slovak ski instructor and Poprad resident. Matt first went to Slovakia in 2002 and completely fell in love with the area and the local people. There were hardly any people visiting the Tatra mountains from the UK so he decided to form the company to show people how beautiful the Tatra mountains were are and get rid of the still communistic myth surrounding eastern Europe.

The site is crammed with inviting images of the Tatras mountain range, which lies in one of the most beautiful undiscovered areas in the heart of Europe. Mountain Paradise offers winter skiing and snowboarding packages as well as summer walking holidays, all complete with English speaking guides.

Mountain Paradise clearly lists all the available accommodations with prices, images and information as well as useful tips about the abundance of outdoor activities on offer from rafting to visiting ice caves and local historic sites.

The site has downloadable maps and even cycle routes, a film on Slovakia and a charming photo gallery. Booking is not available on-line but you can submit an enquiry form and they will contact you to arrange booking.
