This superb site was founded by AA Gill and a select coterie of travel writers with the aim of spurning travellers to seek adventure or comfort far and wide. Its founders firmly believe that sound travel writing is the starting point which we are all looking for in our quest for the perfect holiday destination and that the internet is the best medium in which to convey this information.
The site is loaded with articles, travel writing at its best and it comes directly from the horse's mouth. Their writers have definitely been there and done it. It is more than worthwhile to research a destination on this site. We would go so far as to say that you should bookmark the address and do not attempt to board a boat, plane or train before mugging up, via Travel Intelligence, on your intended destination. You just do not know what gems their intrepid writers might winkle out for you.

They know where to find hotels with character and charm worldwide, with an emphasis on Europe and Morocco. Read hotel reviews online and then book rooms online but do bear in mind that their extensive database holds twice as many hotels as found on the website. Travel Intelligence have first hand knowledge of which hotels are really worth it and if you come up against unavailability, they will be able to recommend alternatives. Some hotels have been reviewed independently, others have supplied information but this is clearly stated.
