Tour Britain

Tour Britain is an ambitious project, which is still under construction and rather slow to load. It's an international online booking service for flights, cars and hotels, and is also a one-stop travel guide for all things British.



It's a shame the homepage doesn't always load smoothly, but the title band strip makes navigation easy by listing the main categories: Travel, Entertainment, Shop, Guides, Top Places and Resources.


SPECIAL FEATURES


Guides on any of the 40 areas in England can be bought for £5, but online payment isn't available and it's necessary to send a cheque via snail mail. Brochures on Wales and Scotland are also mentioned.


Travel is divided into four clear and easily navigable sections. Flights, rail tickets, coaches and ferries can be booked in Transport, and Accommodation highlights hotels, mostly British, but a few international. Top Holidays is divided into special interests, and there's a section on Top UK Tours.


Entertainment, Top Places and Resources aren't yet functioning.
