IndigoGuide

IndigoGuide is a new and independent online travel guide covering holiday destinations in the Mediterranean. The site gives you all the background information you need from a country's history and culture to accommodation and food.

The site is well designed and user friendly. Use either the search button or click on the world map. Images are of a high standard and evocative to the countries they portray. There are links through to websites where you can book holidays and flights. Some of the ads are provided by Google.

The maps enable you to plan your holiday's itinerary, giving you an idea of where the most popular cultural sites are. IndigoGuide also recommends background reading. There are sections on weekend and specialist breaks, with suggested destinations.

Material is being added to the site all the time, with IndigoGuide's team busy researching and reviewing destinations. To date, the following countries have been covered: France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Malta and Portugal. Each week a new guide will be added to the site from frozen Alaska to the temples of Thailand.
