This well-laid-out site is owned by a Saudi Research and Marketing Group, which also publishes Saudi's leading newspapers. It's the most comprehensive online resource on the Arab world, and it has a sense of humour as well: one of its directories is entitled the A–Z of Camels. It's not illustrated, however. The site covers the Middle East and parts of Africa, and has a section on each country, with information on history, culture and business. It also offers a tour guide. It is well worth a visit if you're planning a trip to the region, and makes good reading for the virtual traveller.
