Each place featured on the site helps families to spend time together in a pressure free environment, whether that's flying a kite, feeding hens, building sandcastles or dens - stuff that kills hours without even trying and which doesn't cost a packet. Family holidays featured on the site give parents a much needed break while entertaining the children, whether that's in a luxury hotel with spa treatments and child-care or in a country cottage with visiting therapists and chefs.

Away with the Kids also has a section dedicated to Days Out with everything from a Miniature Pony Centre in Devon to Freedom Trike Tours in Cumbria. Click on ‘Something Different' and you'll find VW camper vans, castles, tree houses or yurts to inspire you. Meanwhile, check out ‘Places to Eat' to find family-friendly restaurants as well as fun days out to enjoy whilst you're there.
