Set up by Sarah Stanley, Unique Home Stays offers an alternative to staying in high quality hotels with a unique list of luxurious B&Bs in the UK, France, Italy and worldwide. There is no compromising in comfort and style with this type of private accommodation. They boast to be amongst the best privately hosted B&Bs which go that bit further, either in style, comfort or location. And they all offer exceptional hospitality.

Choose from manor houses and mansions to rustic farmhouses and cottages, with villas abroad. The homes are personally hosted by the owners. The accommodation includes breakfast and some homes offer dinner. Some of the houses look great fun, like the House in the Sea near Padstow and approached by a foot bridge.

Each home has a full description of rooms and bathrooms, along with contact details and images. Not all counties are covered in the UK but new properties are being added.

It is also possible to organise a house party by taking over a whole house.
