Bed and Breakfast for Garden Lovers

This company has recently been acquired by Alastair Sawday and his Special Places to Stay. This network of B&Bs was established several years ago by keen gardeners, for gardeners. Sue Colquhuon, the organiser, knows all the members personally, and visits each property on her books on a regular basis.

The network has been such a success that Sue Colquhoun can no longer cope with demand and her knight in shining armour has appeared on the scene. BBGL will carry on in a similar vein under Alastair Sawday's ownership.

All BBGL properties are in quiet locations and several hosts provide dinner, if required. In a few exceptions, it is possible to stay all day. These are labelled retreats.

Prices are extraordinarily reasonable making this a very worthwhile site to have up your sleeve, if you are looking for a bed for the night.
