The Most Magical Place on Earth

Walking through the gates of Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, you cannot help but feel the excitement of the millions of people who visit Walt Disney World every single year.

As one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, Walt Disney World is home to four Disney theme parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios, 2 Disney Water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, as well as over 20 Disney hotels, and countless restaurants and shops. People travel from all over the world to enjoy the magic of a Walt Disney World holiday which they will remember forever.

Magic Kingdom gives children and adults alike a chance to enter a fairytale world. With the Magic Castle in the centre of the park, the Magic Kingdom is divided into 5 lands; Frontier land with two of the three "mountains" of the Magic Kingdom; Big Thunder Mountain - a runaway train ride through an old abandoned gold mine; and Splash Mountain - a journey through Song of the South with a 52.5 ft drop at the end! Adventureland which has the original Pirates of the Caribbean ride as well as the Swiss Family Robinson tree house; Fantasyland - home of the iconic "It's a Small World" ride as well as fun for the younger children with Dumbo The Flying Elephant; Tomorrowland - home of the third mountain of the Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain where you blast off 180ft into the air; Liberty Square where the Liberty Bell takes you across the water to Tom Sawyer's island; Lastly, Main Street USA, leading up to the Magic Castle which comes to life in the dark with the Main Street Electrical Parade, and illuminated parade of your favourite Disney characters. To finish off your day at Magic Kingdom, Wishes lights up the night sky in one of the biggest, most spectacular fireworks extravaganza in the world.

Epcot is split into two sections, FutureWorld where innovation and science take a brand new twist and World Showcase, a collection of country inspired pavilions which feature food and entertainment from around the globe. At night Epcot is lit up by the fireworks and laser show Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, one of the most stirring night-time spectaculars from the Walt Disney World.

Disney's Animal Kingdom was created to show the company's dedication to the planet and currently is home to over 1,700 animals over 500 acres, making Disney's Animal Kingdom the largest Animal theme park in the world. Whether you explore the parks with Kilimanjaro Safaris or climb Mount Everest in search of the elusive yeti, Disney's Animal Kingdom is a great day out for the entire family.

Lastly, Disney's Hollywood Studios, where you can enter the Tower of Terror, plunge down 13 storeys in the hotel's lift and enter … the Twilight Zone! Ride the Rockin Rollercoaster to a soundtrack of Aerosmith's most iconic tracks or watch as the stunts of Indiana Jones are re-created before your eyes.
