"The cheapest most expensive watches in the world."

Swiss-made luxury watches are normally classed firmly in the ‘unaffordable’ bracket, but the Christopher Ward watch company turns all that on its head.

SWISS WATCHES AT A FRACTION OF THE USUAL COST

The business began in 2004 when Mike France, Chris Ward and Peter Ellis set out to create luxury Swiss made watches at a fraction of the usual cost and in doing so create “the cheapest most expensive watches in the world.” After a year of designing, their first two watches, the C5 Malvern Automatic and C3 Malvern Chronograph, were launched on the website. Well-respected watch blogger Dave Malone from Australia purchased a Malvern Automatic with the intention of exposing the brand, but ended up writing an extremely complimentary post expressing amazement at the quality of a watch that had been sold so cheaply. Since, then Christopher Ward watches hasn’t looked back.

WATCHES FOR MEN AND WOMEN

Today, the site offers a wide range of watches for both men and women in styles covering classic, aviation, dive, sport, diamond and vintage casual styles. Visitors to the site can refine their search by category, case finish, face colour, movement type, price, strap type, shape, watch size, watch type and water resistance and zoom into high quality imagery to get a full picture of what each watch is like before they buy.

Straps are available to buy independently of watches in alligator, leather, silicon, bracelet, satin and stingray styles. Accessories including collectors cases and watch winders are also available. Meanwhile, buyers can choose to have watches engraved and delivered gift-wrapped or in a deluxe box. An excellent site and service.
