Established for over 25 years, Rubinstein Keightley is a highly professional and creative jewellers and one of the few remaining bespoke jewellers to have a complete workshop on site.

UNUSUAL STONES

To help you with your comission Rubinstein Keightley has a gemmologist and a designer along with a team of master goldsmiths and stone setters, who are able to carry out most of the crafting in one place. It has a passion for unusual stones you may never have heard of before, such as Morganite, a beautiful light pink stone from the Beryl family and can help you to create a stunning piece of jewellery that is completely unique.

Those commissioning jewellery are involved every step of the way in the design process. If customers can not visit the workshop and store in Rutland in person, everything can be done electronically. Unlike many bespoke jewellery designers, who use a computer to create an image for your design, Rubinstein Keightley's designer sketches by hand to scale and then paints your design with watercolour, creating a mini-piece of art before the bespoke design has even been made. A gemologist will source a selection of stones for your design and then narrow it down for you to make a choice before proceeding with the commission, which usually takes six to ten weeks.

REPAIR & RESTYLE

In addition to creating bespoke jewellery, Rubinstein Keightley offers a restyling service for old or antique pieces of jewellery, which are beyond repair, but which have sentimental value. This allows you to take the stones from an old design and re-use them in a newly designed piece of jewellery. In addition to this, Rubinstein Keightley offers a repair service dealing with minor adjustments such as ring re-sizing to more intricate repairs such as sourcing missing stones or re-building rings where the setting has worn down over generations of wear.
