'Read. Learn. Think.' Classic texts are here reduced to a rapidly readable size, and are immediately available without the need to unzip files. The choice of texts is very limited, as only about 30 authors - ranging from Æsop to HG Wells - are so far included, but as a shortcut method of acquainting yourself with a few works by some famous authors, with some authenticity of tone retained, these abbreviated versions of classic texts might work quite well. Certainly, idle schoolchildren might find them useful - but don't go asking them for what they see as Cliff's cramming notes. 'Read the damned book for crying out loud', they say. It's certainly an incentive to read, as well as a good resource.
