The Irish Times

The Irish Times is one of Ireland's top daily broadsheets. Its website, which has moved from its former home on ireland.com, is very nicely designed, accessible and unfussy. On the right of the screen the latest news headlines are listed by the time they were posted. There are links to the various weekend supplements and you can also see which stories are the most popular.

The Irish Times archive goes all the way back to 1859, although you have to subscribe to access this service. Prices start from €1.80 for 24 hour access. However, you can access online content from 1996 onwards.

There is a digital edition of the paper which allows you to read the Irish Times on screen, exactly as it appears in print. Prices start from €1.80 for a single copy.
