Country Life is the iconic weekly magazine of the countryside and its online prescence is pretty good, giving you a look through the Country Life keyhole. Find out the main features in the week's magazine and although it is not possible to read these articles online, you can plunder the archives and read past ones.


There is enough meat on the site to make it worth a regular bookmark if the countryside presses your buttons. The property section is naturally high on the agenda and you can search for rural retreats ad infinitum. The site is interactive in that you can take part in polls by voting for your favourite market town or voice your opinion on the potential forestation of our green and pleasant land with wind turbines. Country Life is particularly hot on this subject, with several articles to read online. The forum is probably not quite as active as it should be but it's there.
