Viewzi

Viewzi is a new aggregate search engine, taking results from Yahoo, YouTube, Google, CNN, Alexa Rankings and others. The great thing about the site is that it lets you decide how you want to view the search results, offering you s different ‘view' services such as text only, screenshot, timeline and photo. Other types of view are still in development. This is a highly visual search engine and a much more enjoyable way of searching for information than that offered by the likes of Google.

The 4 sources view is particularly impressive and a very useful way of comparing results from different search engines. It shows results from Google, MSN, Yahoo and Ask in colour coded boxes. Any duplicate pages are shown as stacked one behind the other. Just hover over the box to make the image bigger.

The most immediately appealing thing about Viewzi is that it makes of a simple search a multiform 3D experience. That you can tailor your search experience to your own particular needs means that the standard flat list of results offered by the likes of Yahoo and Google seem a little out of date.
