Geneva Conventions at 60
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office in partnership with the Red Cross has established an online forum to mark the 60th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions.
Until 12 August - the actual date of the anniversary - you will be able to offer your views on the "challenges to the conventions in the next 60 years." An action plan, taking account of the public's responses, will then be published.
You can offer your opinions in five distinct categories: how journalists can be protected; how victims can best feel justice is serving them; the privacy of prisoners; how to achieve international support for violations of the Conventions; and how to international humanitarian law can be disseminated.
