Pepys Diary

The Diaries here have been copied from Project Gutenberg and enable you to read an entry a day from this well known 17th Century diarist. Pepys wrote his diary at the end of every day and so each new entry on the site is posted at 11 p.m. UK time.

Within the text, you will find links broadening the information on either people mentioned or events. These annotated pages have been added by Pepys' enthusiasts and the reader has the ability to add his own comments.

It's a simple site but makes for fascinating reading.
