Mariner's List Website

This is the website to accompany the active Mariners mailing list, for people 'researching the mariners and ships of the merchant marine and the world's navies'. You can join the list from here, or view the links and research guides assembled by country. The UK research guides written by Debbie Beavis are largely the ones reproduced on Bob Sander's site, though less clearly presented here, and the links refer you back to Bob's site. Other sections are more worthwhile though, such as the list of links to Shipping Companies, the information on the East India Company, and the booklist. Keep an eye on What's New and do also visit Debbie Beavis' own site (www.beavis.co.uk) where she is assembling databases of
names, including passenger lists.
