Do you find that everything you do online goes through Google? If so, perhaps you should take a look at seachboth.net. This site allows you to compare two search engine results on the same page so you can decide for yourself which search engine you think is the best.

Searchboth is very easy to use. At the top of the page two drop down menus offer you a variety of search engines to compare. As well as Google and Yahoo, you can choose from WebSearch, MetaCrawler, MSN, Ask and AltaVista. The results of your search are then displayed on a split screen, allowing for simple comparison. You can also refine your search by country.

The site also gives you the chance to compare travel deals through a yellow pages powered service. This is a far more cumbersome process but it does cut down on the time spent checking individual sites.
