If Gibson and McLaughlin are unfamiliar names to you, the best route to seeing what these guides cover is to click on their links in the homepage index box, which will give a category list before you start consulting individual titles.


Below the brown index links is a yellow box offering the names of other genealogy booksellers, to which links are also available. A new book town has now been established in Galloway in Scotland, and the link to that is GC Books.

Lesley Aitchison specialises in maps, documents and ephemera, while Ambra Books deals with antiquarian and secondhand books relating to Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and counties west.


Incidentally, well towards the bottom of the Jodenoy homepage is a search box linked to Amazon.co.uk where you can try to locate a book via keywords rather than
the full title.

This is an excellent route to sifting out genealogy titles, and online ordering is straightforward.
