Turn2us offers guidance for people who may not be aware of the benefits and grants to which they are entitled. 

So the Coalition has cut your job, your bus service and your child benefit. Your five children will need £7,000 a year each year to go to university and you've only got a handful of change to see you through until the new year. Panicked? Distressed? Annoyed at the turncoat Liberal Democrats? Aghast at the Labour Party's decision to elect one of the brains behind the financial mess to lead the opposition? Irritated with the way the Tories are able to hide the ideological dismantling of the state behind the generation of fear about how we are but a plateful of moussaka away from becoming Greece? Whatever your feelings, if you find yourself in real trouble, and don't know if there is any help available out there, Turn2us will do its best to be of assistance. 

This site has been set up to let you check which benefits and grants you may be entitled to. Set up by Elizabeth Finn Care, a charitable organisation which helps people in poverty, this is the sort of website which makes you feel slightly less alone in the universe. Our millionaire Chancellor might be pretending that he is in the same boat as everyone else, when we all know that he's on a luxury yacht instead of a blow up dinghy from Tesco, but that doesn't mean that no one is looking out for the poorest in society. If you are entitled to help of any financial description, Turn2us will point you in its direction.
