Oxjam

Oxjam is Oxfam's musical festival that everyone can get involved in. It's now in its fourth year and has raised more than £1 million so far.

HOW IT WORKS

Throughout October music lovers around the UK will organise their own events to raise money for Oxfam to help fight poverty around the world. Oxjam is open to all styles of music and all types of event. If you want to busk traditional English folk, set up a late night jazz bar or play Bach's piano concertos at your local theatre, it is - in the idiom of the moment - all good.

To get involved go to the website and sign up as an organiser, performer or helper. After that you can start organising your event. There are also opportunities to become more closely involved with regional promotion and the stewarding of events. Take a look at the volunteer vacancies on the website.

THE WEBSITE

The website gives you all the information you need. You can find out about local Oxjam events, keep up with the latest news, buy tickets, read about tips on fundraising and featured events, watch videos, download the toolkit to help you organise your own event and pay in the money you raise.
