Scottish Business Women

Part of the Small Business gateway and Scottish Enterprise, this is an excellent site. It is simple to follow with only a handful of main categories. The page design is appealingly uncomplicated, and the text written in this-is-how-it-is language. Though certain elements are aimed at Scottish Business in particular, there is just as much here for English, Welsh or Irish women too (if they don't mind us looking!)

Information Pages are excellent, with a menu of business subjects to choose from and include business planning, legislation and regulations, ebusiness and finance. Under marketing, for example, there is one of the best features we have found on building a marketing strategy, with guidelines on advertising (who does what and when), direct mail, how to measure success and writing a marketing plan.
