Doug Richard has a background in technical and software firms. Appearing in the first two series of Dragon's Den made him an instantly recognisable figure in the world of startups and small businesses. He has mentored and supported many entrepreneurs throughout his career and continues to do so, acting as an angel investor in startups on a regular basis.
