Lloyds Shareview Dealing
This one has Lloyds TSB all over the cover, but looks suspiciously like a tailored version of Selftrade. Trade Crest-settled LSE, AIM and OFEX stocks, IRS shares, unit trusts/oeics and ETFs online, and gilts, corporate bonds and PIBS by telephone.
Dealing is at real-time snapshot quotes or at limit and stop loss (good for 90 days). Dealing commission and charges depend on whether you hold a Lloyds TSB Premier bank account or not:
•Premier account holders trade at £13.50 for the first 12 transactions per quarter and at £11 for the balance, with an £5 p.q. account fee (waived if you hold a PEP or ISA within the dealing account).
•Others trade at £15 on the first 12 quarterly transactions and at £11.50 on the balance with an £8 p.q. account fee (waived if you hold a PEP or ISA within the dealing account).
•Certificated dealing is at £15 (up to £5k) and at £20 for larger considerations for Premier account holders and at £25 per trade for the rest of us.
ISA and PEP accounts cost 0.125% p.q. (£6.25 to £16.25 + VAT for Premier customer and £6.25 to £30 + VAT for the rest). There is no SIPP facility. Research and tools are practically identical to those of Selftrade, and include Stock Selector and Fund Selector tools.
Slick navigation and great site organization, but you have more tradable instruments (e.g. warrants and covered warrants) and better functionality (SIPP) on Selftrade, where you can also deal more cheaply if you are not a frequent trader.
