Million Dollar Homepage

The Million Dollar Homepage has been an instant success with companies and individuals all wanting to own a piece of internet history. The site is the brainchild of student, Alex Tew, who wanted to get himself ahead of student debt and so came up with this very bright idea.

His Million Dollar Homepage provides advertising space to companies from around the world, who purchase the minimum of 100 pixel blocks for $100. These blocks are hosted on the homepage with a link through to the company's site. The site will be live for at least five years from its launch which was on 26th August, 2005. Sex and violence sites are not permitted and each application is screened before being accepted.

The Million Dollar Homepage is now complete and basking in a million dollar's worth of glory. The last lots were auctioned off on eBay. The site is rated as one of the world's fastest growing and at the same time, netting its founder a pretty penny.

As Tew says himself, the Million Dollar Homepage is a unique idea that will work only once. But brilliant it is. Congratulations!
