Entrepreneur of the Year
The Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, founded and run by Ernst & Young, is a regional, national and international award scheme recognising the achievements of outstanding entrepeneurs.
The Awards are judged by other entrepreneurs, including previous winners and academics. Events and activities associated with Entrepreneur Of The Year offer insights to help businesses achieve their full potential, with tailored workshops, retreats and learning.
Entering the awards, allows applicants to meet up with like minded people as well as previous winners. It also gives recognition to the teams working behind the entrepreneurs. The programme recognises the benefits that entrepreneurs and their entrepreneurial spirit bring to the economy in terms of job creation and the UK's competitiveness.
Entries for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 must be received by 7th March 2008. Past winners include Lord Harris of Carpetright, Tim Richards of Vue Cinemas and easyGroup's Stelios Haji-Ioannou.
