On uSwitch you can compare and apply for unsecured loans of up to £25,000 repayable over 10 years, or for secured loans of up to £250,000 over 25 years.

Unsecured Loans

You can sort the results table by provider, loan details, monthly repayment, APR, total repayable, early redemption charge and online application. Some loan deals are displayed but are unavailable through uSwitch. You can "enquire" after them and uSwitch "will suggest an alternative one that is either better or the next best match." Make of that what you will.

Click on the name of the individual provider for the loan fine print. A useful feature is the ability to compare selected loans against one another feature by feature (hit Compare).

Secured Loans

Secured loans are placed through Loanmakers, a uSwitch partner. The functionality of the results table seems identical to that of unsecured loans.

Top Deals

Another nice innovation by uSwitch is provision of interactive best buy tables for both secured and unsecured loans (by loan size and term), thereby making them consistent with full-search results.
