A comparator website, for the selection personal and business general insurance products. The insurances offered are:

• Motor: Car, high-performance/classic/specialist car, commercial (van/lorry/taxi/minibus).

• Property: Buildings and contents, high value home insurance, landlord's let property, shared/rented accommodation insurance, domestic appliances, computer.

• Travel: Single/multi-trip, seniors, group, long-stay, business, golfing, skiing, hazardous sports, same-sex, backpacking/adventure, pregnant women.

• Health: Private medical.

• Pet: Cat & dog, horse, rabbit. Bird.

• Other: Wedding, boat, golfing (equipment and liability), mobile phone, musical instruments, camera.

• Business: Liability, small office, tradesman, shop, home worker, professional indemnity, landlord.

Search by category using the appropriate Wizard, which "compares your individual insurance profile with the preferred business of the UK's main insurers". A brief initial questionnaire generates a list of up to five insurers but no comparative quotes. You have to click on each listing and follow the full application procedure to generate a final quote. This entails filling out five detailed questionnaires to compare five final quotes - relatively primitive compared with the "one-search" method used on Moneysupermarket and The Idol, where a single application form is submitted to all car or home insurance providers.

Car and home insurance quotes are drawn from a wide range of providers. For the remainder, panels tend to be rather narrow. Business insurance quotes are provided by Decision Finance (liability, small office, home worker, professional indemnity, tradesman, landlord) and Cover4Offices (small office, shop, motor trade road risks) and Endsleigh (landlord).
