Commentary covers not only financial news but views on companies, real-time analysis, markets and trends through pithy editorial, the contents of which can be quickly assimilated.

For new visitors, you can read some sample views on the site but this corporate subscription service is available in the main to users with corporate email accounts. Newcomers can take out a free 21 day trial before committing further.

A subscription to breakingviews entitles the account holder to two daily emails (short summaries of opinion linking through to the site), use of online archives, interactive calculators, a weekly PDF round-up of the week's top stories every Friday. The service is of course Blackberry compatible.
