This global meeting and market place for start-ups had its first event on the first Tuesday in October 1998. On the website (and at First Tuesday events) entrepreneurs can connect with a network of venture capitalists, business angels and private investors from around the world. Since its conception, its 41000 members attend events worldwide each month. Events are held in 36 cities in 19 countries, bringing together leading players. Registration is necessary and then the website is at your feet, providing an online source of knowledge relating to innovation and technology. First Tuesday are bringing in a research arm and a section for young people who are interested in developing their entrepeneurial skills.
