Funds Direct is one of the earliest online funds supermarkets, founded in 1982, launching the first online fund supermarket in 1999. Its aim is to offer every investor the opportunity to purchase funds at discounted costs. There are 2,300 funds on offer from over 150 individual fund managers.

Site layout is definitely functional rather than glamorous. The shopping cart facility enables clients to purchase securely online by debit card or offline with a printable application.
