Bearing in mind the amount of expensive business time wasted sitting in traffic queues, this site is worth bookmarking. The information is thorough and up-to-the-minute, but on the downside it is very slow to load and the jam may have cleared by the time you retrieve the information.

Route Planner covers the UK, Ireland and Europe. With the interactive map, you can be very specific about your starting and finishing point, and within a few seconds a detailed route plan will appear. There is also a print out option.


Travel News includes a menu of the latest alerts, or you can search by city or town, or motorway. Click on the area of the motorway map, and alert icons appear with information about the nature of the hold up.
