MADE IN 48 Hours

MADE IN 48 Hours is a unique boot camp that aims to unlock the potential of a digitally enabled business with hands on help and teaching. At the close of this event, run by School for Startups, all delegates should leave with a transformed business and their expectations awakened. The course takes place in Sheffield between 10th - 11th September 2010 at Sheffield Hallam University and costs £375.

ACTION LEARNING

The creation of serial entrepreneur and former Dragon, Doug Richard will run the course alongside some of the most talented and experienced digital experts in the world. School for Startups has gained a reputation for 'action learning' with a solid following of 1000 businesses around the country.

This two day event will teach up to 150 startup, small and medium businesses how to be effective in a digital economy. Businesses can range from home-based part-time mums to fast growing creative businesses. Regardless of where these businesses are in their plan, the goal is to take them to the next stage.

ALL IN 48 HOURS

The bootcamp will immerse delegates in every technique to leverage the internet to accelerate growth, lower costs and increase profits. Every business, whether it's a local shop or a small growing company must understand that if they give School for Startups just 48 hours, their company could be changed forever.

Learn how to stake a company's identity across the web, build a brand, attract new customers, leverage social media, learn the tricks of SEO, master the art of Google, discover the secret of distribution channels, reach overseas or around the corner, and learn the tools and techniques of the world's fastest growing companies.

SPEAKERS

Doug Richard will be joined by Andrew Davis, one of the UK's leading social media strategists and founder of theworstkeptsecret.com, a blogging site dedicated to educating global brands and small businesses in using social media to engage and interact with target audiences.
