The Vegan Chef
This is a lively recipe site from young chef Beverly Lynn Bennett who is committed to developing exciting and original low-fat, vegan menus. Click on one of the apples at the left of the page to reach the main sections, or scroll down to read Bev's welcome, her definition of the word vegan, or sign the guestbook. The featured recipes are all on one page, which requires a lot of scrolling.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Recipes On a recent visit we saw Beverly highlighting Mediterranean dishes such as tzatziki made from soy products, wholewheat pittas with sesame seeds, dolmas, tofu feta-style cheese made with miso and other flavourings, plus a baklava. She's certainly inventive and inspirational. Occasionally the recipes need items such as soy soured cream which are not highly available in the UK, but these small problems are the kind of thing most vegans are used to coping with and let's face it, what's the difference between tofu yogurt and tofu soured cream? Beverly publishes around 12 recipes per month, offering a mix of both easy and more involved dishes.

COMMENTS
We're sure most people would be happy to eat vegan with Beverly as their personal chef. Someone should get this girl a book deal!
