Bootcamp Pilates
Bootcamp Pilates is the fitness workout that is taking London by storm. This combination of traditional pilates and circuit traing has been imported from LA by Dominque Day with two studios, one in West London and the other in East London.
PILATES STUDIO CLASSES
Bootcamp is appealing for its cross training regime, giving the ultimate workout where you will:
- realign the spine
- lengthen and tone the body
- improve overall posture
All this and you'll also be on the receiving end of some cardiovascular training. With the sun shining and holidays approaching, Bootcamp is the place for achieving that flat stomach and toned legs.
The workout is centred around the reformer, equipment designed to tighten and tone your abs, bum and thighs with pulleys and springs, that provide added resistance. Although it might look daunting for first timers, with an instructor on hand, it's fairly simple to get to grips with.
BOOTCAMP APPEAL
Classes at Bootcamp appeal to a cross-section of men and women. It's particularly good for sportsmen and women that either need to work on specific areas or to repair a sports injury. It can strengthen a bad back by building core strength and working the stabiliser muscles around the spine. And for those that want to shape up, it is the perfect fitness regime with visible results taking effect fairly quickly.
