Sweepola
Sweepola is an auction site with a difference. To win one of the amazing items on offer, you just need to place the lowest unique bid. A combination of luck and skill is required, so read up on past auctions to give yourself the best chance of winning!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The site makes its money by charging for each bid placed, which varies according to the item on auction (anything from an iphone 4 or an ipad to a car). You, as the bidder, will choose an amount to bid and, once that has gone through, Sweepola will let you know if your bid is unique, too low or too high and you can see whether or not to bid again (for a repeat fee). A reserve number of bids is placed on each auction; in the event that this amount of bids is not reached, the timer restarts as they need to cover the cost of the item, VAT marketing and their profit before an item can be won. At the moment only UK residents over the age of 16 can play Sweepola.
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
The Previous Winners tab gives you all the information you should need to understand how an auction can be won. FAQs should also deal with any queries you may have. As a family-run site Sweepola pride themself on being very open about how they make their money and how the auctions operate, so you should never feel like you are being tricked into throwing away your money.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU WIN?
If you have the good fortune to win, you can either purchase the auctioned item, or take the cash instead. Bear in mind that it is much better form to take the prize, as this is what the site is all about; giving you the chance to win something you wouldn't normally be able to afford.
CHARITY AUCTIONS
If you after a clearer conscience as well as a prize, Sweepola also run charity auctions, whereby they sponsor an event to help raise money for a chosen charity. The latest charity auction is for a supercar experience day to help raise money for the CNCF.

I love it and have won a few times. Prizes (or cheques if reserve hasn't been met) always arrive promptly. Friendly customer services & you feel as if they ARE listening as they follow up suggestions made by players. Good range of products too - different from the usual Penny Auction / Lowest Unique Bid sites. Recommended if you like this sort of thing - and worth a look if you're not sure!
Make huge savings on covetable products by placing the lowest unique bid.
