The company is run by Charlie and Caroline Gladstone, who also own Hawarden Estate Farm Shop and Balbegno Castle in Scotland, where they run an organic farm and a Christmas tree farm too.

COUNTRY CHIC

This is a professionally organised site offering a wide variety of tempting goods, all of which have passed the Gladstone taste, looks and durability test. The site has a gently commercial feel to it, with items such as Hunter wellington boots (not your regular green), Guernsey Fisherman's jerseys and Billingham Bags (a collaboration featuring bespoke lining, labels and leather detailing), all sitting comfortably alongside beaded dog collars, wallpaper decorated with sepia vintage photographs and ceramic kitchenware that conjures up images of rustic kitchens and AGAS.

THE GLADSTONES

The Gladstones' blog reveals that they have six children, four dogs, lots of horses and ponies and three chickens and that they have a fruit and vegetable farm in Wales.
