I Chose it is a brilliant new website aimed at giving men the chance to buy women the kind of presents they really, really want. perfect for birthdays or anniversaries, Christmas, Valentines or Mother's Day, you'll be sure to get her something special.

WHO CHOOSES IT?

Working in an upmarket gift shop, Elizabeth Sweeney found that men would rush in at the last minute asking first for help with choosing a gift, then for it to be wrapped for them. Women, on the other hand, came into the shop and sighed over the tiny bottles of expensive bath oil or pretty necklaces but wouldn't buy them for themselves. This gave her the idea for a website supplying beautiful gifts, for men to buy for the women they love, and she created I Chose it with her brother Nigel.

WHAT WOMEN WANT

The dazzling selection features gorgeous jewellery, bath products, scented candles, chic homeware, clothes and accessories - individual luxury items that women love to wear and have in their homes.
