Rhysko

Rhysko is a family forum for parents, children, grandparents, extended families and professionals to make new friends and socialise.

Rhysko was launched 01 November 2006. It is a family run website providing online community services aimed at bringing people together by using the Community forums to contact other members. Set up by Mary Woodhouse, a mother who wanted the support and friendship of other families in her area.

The site allows members to get in touch with and meet up with other families in their neighbourhood, find prenatal and postnatal groups, arrange social events and holidays or just chat online with like-minded people.

The site is well set out and easy to use and also offers an e-shop selling some wonderful hand-made children's toys, including the lovely Lilly the Pig in her sweet floral apron and Arturo the Elephant with a fetching plaid shirt. For the Adults there is a nice selection of Spanish ceramics too, all of which can be bought on a secure server. Rhysko also provide ideas for production and fictional writing and publishing.

Rhysko is guaranteed as a safe online space, for people who wish to make respectable contacts and enter genuine enquiries and responses on the Community forum. The site provides Notes and Tips, which encourage members to meet in public places and share no personal information until they get to know each other better.

Swap & Chat has just been added to the list of services offered by Rhysko. Members can bring unwanted, good quality children's clothes, toys and related items to special sessions, where they can swap their things and chat with other members. The first Swap & Chat party will be held in North London soon.

Rhysko is a great online community for all the family to use.
