Source Collective
Source Collective is an online boutique where you can buy clothes for women, contemporary jewellery, accessories and design led gifts for yourself, the home and office.
Source Collective is a Nottingham based company that was set up in December 2004 by a mother and daughter team. Both have diverse backgrounds, one in fashion design and freelance journalism and the other in the financial sector. Between them, they have a keen eye in choosing products for this well-designed website.
Sourcing interesting and unusual products is key to the duos' success with every product coming under their personal scrutiny. The range is reasonably priced, has edge and is definitely different from what you would find on the high street. The team regularly attend designer shows and graduate events. They like to support small individual labels that are just starting out.
The site is split into three areas: clothing, accessories and gifts. Each section is of a manageable size making for easy browsing. There are t-shirts, slinky halternecks, lingerie by Motel, some fun looking jewellery and Little Extras that you can pop into your shopping basket at the checkout. There is free postage on all orders over £100.
Featured designers include Noodoll, Lazy Out, Supreme Being, Mertle & George, embroidered purses from Alice Caroline, Virginie Brisset's Swarovski crystal belt charms and Emma Birgin's jewellery.
Up and coming designers can submit their work online by following the instructions in Submit Designs which lets you attach images as well. The company endeavour to get back to you within two weeks.
