Housebling

Housebling is a fantastic website offering festive fun. Created by the homeless charity Shelter, it's free to use, but you can choose to make a donation. 

Simply enter your postcode for a google map view of your street and spruce it up with a choice of christmas decorations. From flashing santas and reindeer to wreaths and holly you can click and drag your decorations, draw on a blanket of snow and even watch snowflakes fall or make them melt. Share your scene with friends on facebook and twitter.

If your street doesn't have google street view you can choose yourself a famous landmark to decorate instead, from: the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Wembley Stadium, the Royal Albert Hall and even Coronation Street. Regional attractions include the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, the Baltic in Newcastle, Leeds Town Hall, Edinburgh castle and Glasgow Cathedral. 

If you fancy adding a bit of festive charm further afield then you can jazz up the Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triomphe in France, the Colisseum in Rome, Plaza de Cibeles in Spain, Sydney Opera House and in the USA the Empire State Building and Golden Gate Bridge.
