Simply log in, choose the name of your blog, the colour scheme and style of your pages from a list of templates, and off you go - (if you wish to personalise your template, this can be done by using your own graphics and code). To write a post, just click on ‘Posting', think up a title for your blog and start writing. Blogs can be written up using two formats: ‘Compose', which is like a what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor in that, as you compose and add media or links, you can see what the final version will look like; or Edit HTML, which is more complicated. If you get interrupted while writing a blog, you can save a draft for future.

You can choose who you would like to hear feedback from by opening it up to all users, to registered users, to people with a google account, or only to members of your blog.
